Summary
The annual SSC reader-survey results (5,500 responses): demographics, Likert-scale opinion means, pre-registered hypotheses (mostly nulls), a candid fishing-expedition of weak correlations, a comment-section politics analysis (conservatives comment more; the crowd rates the comments as maximally unbiased), and a striking MTurk comparison (SSCers far less happy despite ~$97k income, 5x more autistic, near-teetotal). Honest, readable data reporting.
Why this score
Quality 58 · Solid. Solid: an honest, well-annotated data dump with a few genuinely interesting findings (the happiness gap, comment-politics), but a survey-results post rather than an essay — mid-tier, above the barest survey stubs. 58.
Claude’s paradigm shift 35 · Slight. Routine annual format, some novel findings. B35.
Real-world impact 2 · Minor. The publicly-released SSC survey dataset is a real, reused community resource; moderate niche impact. RWI2.
